Reliable in transition, Kaelen prides himself on making a clean first pass to spark the breakout and isn’t afraid to lean on his heavy shot when the opportunity comes. His team-first mentality and ability to win battles in his own zone make him a dependable defender in every situation.
Born in Tampa, Florida and raised in Ontario, Kaelen has developed his game through years in the OMHA system while also competing at a high level in lacrosse. That dual-sport background has sharpened his footwork, endurance, and awareness, giving him an edge in high-pressure moments. A grade 9 honour roll student and recipient of his school’s leadership award, he also gives back through local youth lacrosse clinics.
Kaelen’s ultimate goal is to play hockey at the next level. With his size, skillset, and relentless drive to improve, he’s a defenceman built to make an impact and ready to take on every challenge ahead.
