He enjoys fishing, quadding, soccer, working out, and spending time with family and friends—whether it’s watching the Leafs with his father or driving his boat in the summer. He also values community involvement, volunteering at school events and gaining hands-on experience working on a farm. Coaches and teachers know him as a natural leader with a positive personality who sets an example for others.

A six-year AAA player, Gabriel earned the Junior Hockey Award at his high school for his dedication to the game. A vocal, high-IQ forward, he communicates, motivates, and makes smart plays under pressure—always finding a way to give his team the edge.
