Luca is relentless in battles for puck possession, attacking deep into the corners and using high-level gap control and angles to limit opposition chances. His vision allows him to consistently create offensive opportunities and surf the neutral zone, reading plays at a top level. Off the ice, Luca is organized, calm under pressure, and maintains an impressive academic average above 90 percent. He’s a multisport athlete and four time winner of the defenceman of the year award. Luca is dedicated to training, pushing his speed and strength registering a twelve second hundred meter dash and building towards a future in medicine.
