Evan Hoven is a versatile forward who excels at both centre and left wing. A true 200-foot player, he uses his speed and hockey IQ to create space, set up teammates, and shut down plays in all three zones.

Known for grit and determination, Evan’s equally effective driving the net, winning puck battles, and generating scoring chances.

Off the ice, Evan is just as committed. Coaches and teachers describe him as humble, kind, and a natural leader — qualities that earned him an assistant captain’s letter as well as the Joe Belclot Award for sportsmanship and dedication. An all-around athlete, Evan loves playing any sport, maintains an academic average close to 90, and gives back through volunteer work at his local golf course and goalie camps.

On the ice, Evan has consistently played AAA-level hockey and developed under respected coaches, including on-ice training with Michelle Moore. His explosiveness shows in his testing: a broad jump over two and a half metres, a 340-pound belt squat, and a vertical in the 50–60 cm range.

Evan doesn’t just play hockey — he lives it. And he’s only getting started.
