Kohen Chrastina

U16 AAA // 2025-26
Niagara North Stars
Coach: Jason Glenney

Kohen Chrastina is a big, right-shot defenceman who plays a complete two-way game. In the offensive zone, he uses his shot and deception to get pucks through traffic, creating scoring chances and rebounds for his teammates.

Birth Date Birth Date June 10, 2010
Birthplace Birthplace Welland, ON
Height Height 6'1"
Weight Weight 170 lbs
Position Position Defencemen

Defensively, Kohen’s size, positioning, and active stick make him tough to beat, especially along the walls and in front of the net. Reliable in all three zones, Kohen competes with intensity and has a knack for winning puck battles when they matter most.

Off the ice, Kohen shows the same drive for excellence. A consistent Honour Roll student with a 93% average, he balances academics and athletics with discipline and focus. He enjoys working out, golfing, spending time with family and friends, and competing in lacrosse, where he helped the St. Catharines Athletics capture an All-Ontario “A” championship.

Leadership comes naturally — he’s captained both hockey and lacrosse teams, serves as an alternate captain for the Niagara North Stars, and has earned recognition such as the Bronze Scholar Award and MVP in the 2025 OMHA semifinal. With size, vision, and leadership, Kohen is the kind of defenceman who changes the game every shift — and the kind of player you want on the ice when everything is on the line.
