With a strong hockey IQ, Shaver makes smart decisions under pressure, whether it’s breaking up a rush, moving the puck with confidence, or using his powerful skating to create opportunities.

Away from the rink, Evan values balance and connection. He cherishes time with family and enjoys making memories with friends, whether it’s playing sports, exploring new activities, or just having fun. He is also passionate about cooking, creating healthy meals that fuel his performance. Academically, Evan is proud to be on the honor roll. Teachers and coaches alike praise his leadership, maturity, and ability to set a good example.

A dual-sport athlete, Evan has competed in AAA hockey for four years and also plays with the Toronto Rock U17 lacrosse team, winning multiple tournaments across Ontario and the U.S., including back-to-back Jr. NLL titles. With his sights set on Division 1, Evan trains with the drive and discipline to get there.
